Laparoscopic Surgery

Combining an expertise in liver and pancreas surgery with skill in laparoscopic techniques, a minimally invasive approach to certain diseases can be offered. Laparoscopic surgery is a form of minimally invasive surgery. With the assistance of a small camera and thin instruments, surgery is performed through small incisions.
Benefits of laparoscopic surgery include less postoperative discomfort, quicker recovery times, shorter hospital stays, earlier return to full activities, and smaller scars. For you, this means you will get back to your normal life as quickly as possible.
Laparoscopic procedures include:

    • Laparoscopic resection of a portion the liver
    • Laparoscopic resection of a portion of the pancreas
    • Laparoscopic microwave ablation of liver tumors
    • Laparoscopic radiofrequency ablation of liver tumors
    • Laparoscopic drainage or removal of liver cysts
    • Laparoscopic drainage or removal of pancreatic pseudocyst
    • Laparoscopic removal of the gallbladder
    • Laparoscopic bile duct surgery
